Abstract
Describes potential therapies that exploit key molecular targets in intracellular signaling pathways downstream of Bcr-Abl, the abnormal tyrosine kinase encoded by a fusion gene associated with chronic myeloid leukemia. Chromosomal translocation underlying the etiology of the disease; Oncogene generated by the fusion of the BCR and ABL genes.
