Abstract
The article discusses the role of the government of Ethiopia in providing public health services that will promote maternal and child survival and nutrition though the Health Extension Program. The program allows pregnant women and children in the community to receive vitamin supplements. A nationwide approach to improve the quantity and quality of complementary community-based feeding will be addressed under the program from 2013-2015.
