Abstract
The article focuses on the use of euphemisms to describe death and its theological implications, challenging the avoidance of the term "death" in favor of softer expressions like "passed away." It discusses how this linguistic avoidance reflects societal discomfort with death's finality and advocates for honesty and realism about death, especially within Christian contexts, to better prepare individuals for the reality of mortality and the hope of resurrection.
