Abstract
Fullerene C reacts with phosphine (PH3) under free radical initiation conditions (azobis(isobutyronitrile), xylene, 65°C, 6-11 h) to give in the presence of air oxygen functional oligofullerenes (yield up to 32%) containing functional groups of phosphinic and phosphonic acids. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
