Abstract
The article describes the case of a 16-year old girl with fibrocartilaginous embolism (FCE). It discusses the symptoms she experienced, results of clinical examination and magnetic resonance imaging, clinical characteristics of FCE, neuroimaging features and the diagnosis of acute transverse myelitis.
