Abstract
A 32-year-old, previously healthy woman of European ancestry presented with several months of arthralgias affecting her ankles and knees, intermittent fever, bilateral parotid enlargement (Fig. a), uveitis and erythema nodosum (Fig. b). Diagnosis Simultaneous occurrence of Heerfordt syndrome (HS) and Löfgren syndrome (LS), with cutaneous sarcoidosis developing after the other manifestations of sarcoidosis had resolved. HS encompasses uveitis, enlarged salivary glands and cranial nerve palsy, while LS encompasses erythema nodosum, febrile arthropathy and hilar lymphadenopathy. [Extracted from the article]
