Abstract
The article focuses on the continuous development and advancement of the optical thin-film model. It mentions that French researcher Florin Abelès is the one who created the basic model of optical-thin film model. It adds that the starting model is employing parallel-sided films and known optical constants. Moreover, elaborations and technological innovations are being made although there is a presence of the fundamental model of thin-film interference.
