Abstract
The article focuses on critically assessing and rethinking the utility of antibiograms in guiding antimicrobial prescribing decisions, highlighting challenges in their interpretation and applicability, and discussing the need for innovative approaches, such as enhanced antibiograms and machine learning, to improve their predictive accuracy and clinical relevance.
