Abstract
The last subequation in Eq. (5) is merely reporting Taylor's ([11], [12]) original dispersion equation, and therefore we did not provide the number of data points used. Contribution of the dispersion process to mass transport is expected to be higher at lower flow rates and many household flow rates could fall in a flow regime that was expected to be impacted by dispersion. LDM is more appropriately described as EPANET with the concentration-limited first-order lead model [Eq. (2)], or rather advection-reaction, whereas LDM-ADR adds dispersion. The HT N ht notation used in Eq. (5) reflects the standard statistical number of samples included and was not initially included in the text. [Extracted from the article]
