Abstract
The article explores A 53-year-old man presented with moderate leukocytosis, mild macrocytic anemia, and thrombocytopenia (leukocytes 30 × 109 /L, hemoglobin 10.5 g/dL, mean corpuscular volume 104 fl, platelets 75 × 109 /L). Peripheral blood smear examination revealed 50% medium- to large-sized blasts, including rare promonocytes showing hemophagocytosis.
