Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to determine the proportion of healthy infants in Uganda and Malawi using the Division of AIDS toxicity tables. It states that 561 infants from birth to six months of age were enrolled in a cross-sectional laboratory study wherein blood samples were collected and analyzed according to the toxicity table. It concludes that the results emphasize the significance of gathering relevant local norms to avoid mislabeling of healthy infants.
