Abstract
The article presents a study of the characteristics of non-noble-metal-based catalysts for cathode for low-temperature fuels cells with proton-conducting polymeric electrolyte. It synthesizes non-noble-metal-based catalysts of hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells of which characteristics are comparable those of platinum catalysts-based fuel cells. Results show that an increase in excess gas pressure improves the discharge characteristics of cathode-based fuel cells.
