Abstract
The article focuses on recommendations of forum participants regarding transfusion policy on ABO-incompatible transplantation of stem cells, and red blood cell (RBC) transfusion on pure red cell aplasia (PRCA). Werner Linkesch says that transfusion is done on myeloablative conditioning in major or minor ABO incompatibility of red cells. Emma Watz adds that haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HPCTx) patients receive recipient type RBC regardless of conditioning regime.
