Abstract
The article presents a study that aims at reviewing patients who underwent a surgical release for the treatment of post-traumatic elbow stiffness during a 36-month period. It describes the methodology of the study which included serial measurement of the motion range and the shortened version of the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand scores. The study found that elbow stiffness should be tackled in both the sagittal and rotational motion planes.
