Abstract
The article focuses on dynamic systems and their control. The author stated that since industrial revolution nothing changed much in mechanical design of fluid powered systems. Additive manufacturing processes have emerged in modern times where construction is carried out in layer-by-layer deposition of material. Voids and mesh structures can be used to manufacture parts by reducing weight and lowering costs. Freeform fluidics is referred to the combination of additive manufacturing and fluid power. A single fabrication process consists of thermal management, actuation and control.
