Abstract
The article provides management, diagnostic tips and surgical operations for congenital blepharoptosis, an abnormally low upper eyelid noted within the first year of life. Differential diagnoses include neurogenic and aponeurotic ptosis, myasthenia gravis and blepharochalasis. Surgical options include frontalis sling, whitnall sling, and levator resection and advancement, as well as modified tarsal resection.
