Abstract
The article focuses on how to work with the banks to understand the importance of the banking regulatory framework Basel III in the U.S. It discusses the potential impacts of Basel III on treasury and finance executives including an increased pricing, a shift from industry segments or markets, and a reduction of services in the banking industry. Information regarding the formation of the Basel Committee on Banking (BCBS) in 1974 by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is also provided.
