Abstract
The article examines U.S. asylum laws that impact domestic violence victims and analyze the effect they have both domestically and globally on victims. Topics covered include a comparison of asylum laws and policies in several countries including Sweden, Germany, Canada, and the U.S., judicial and legislative recommendations to replace the current U.S. asylum policy.
