Abstract
The article discusess a study conducted for examining sea otter diet diversity in zoos and aquariums. It mentions that sea otters in human care have different dietary needs, they do not have to compete with conspecifics for food, are offered a reliable and stable diet, are provided with veterinary care when sick. It also mentions that diet variability and amount of kilocalories offered to sea otters is adequate for their growth, and reproduction.
