Abstract
The author discusses a research article on the health status of patients in India with hemophilia A, the use of health-care resources by them, and the cost of care. Topics covered include policy decisions in the country in absence of sufficient research evidence, methods of economic analyses in health care, and government expenditure of health at 1.15 percent of gross domestic product.
