Abstract
The article presents the study that explores on the vital role of acinar-specific pancreas-specific transcription factor 1 (PTF1A) in the development of the ductal pancreatic adenocarcinoma and in safeguarding the pancreatic acinar population from environmental insults and oncogene activity.
