Abstract
The article presents a retrospective analysis of consumption of classes of reinforcement during functional communication training (FCT) of children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The methodology of the study is discussed. The results show that classes of reinforcement are identified as maintaining problem behavior which are consistently consumed during FCT while arbitrary classes of reinforcement could be considered for treatment.
