Abstract
The article discusses the study on the comparison of effect of losartan with atenolol on revascularization in patients with hypertension and electrocardiographic left ventricular hypertrophy. In the study, losartan showed a tendency towards reducing peripheral revascularization compared to atenolol-based treatment. The rate of myocardial infarction did not differ between the treatment groups when losartan was administered to patients.
