Abstract
The article reports on studies concerning sacroiliac joint movements and pelvic joint fusion outcomes. Topics discussed include the accuracy of radiostereometrics in analyzing sacroiliac joint movement, the outcomes for patients with severe pelvic girdle pain (PGP) who underwent pelvic joint fusion and the possible causes of PGP. Also discussed are the tests to diagnose PGP and the biomechanical considerations for sacroiliac joint movement.
