Abstract
This article discusses the clinical outcomes of using retropupillary fixated iris claw intraocular lenses (RFICIOL) in pediatric patients with insufficient capsular support. The study followed 50 eyes of 28 patients aged 5-15 who underwent endocapsular lens aspiration and RFICIOL for ectopia lentis. After 12 months, 96% of the eyes showed significant improvement in visual acuity, and postoperative complications were minimal. The study supports the use of RFICIOL in pediatric aphakia and contributes to the existing literature on the topic. [Extracted from the article]
