Abstract
The article focuses on congenital epulis. It relates the clinical case of a one-day-old girl who was presented with a large intraoral mass that hinders her from feeding. The patient underwent surgery, results of which indicate that she has congenital epulis or a benign tumor of the soft tissue that manifests at birth. It adds that epulis management concerns nutritional support as well as simple excision.
