Abstract
The article focuses on the older generation of another species of genus Gazella in the Anatolia, Turkey. Gazella species are high threatened and most survive only in captive breeding programs. Its specie G. subgutturosa was widely distributed from Oman in the Arabian Peninsula to southeastern Anatolia through central Asia, Mongolia and northwestern China. In the authors' study, they observed the nucleotide differences of the gene of the Sanhurfa population and the newly discovered gazelle population in Hatay, Turkey. They conclude that the new population in Hatay belongs to G. g. gazella.
