Preventive Effects of Moringa oleifera (Lam) on Hyperlipidemia and Hepatocyte Ultrastructural Changes in Iron Deficient Rats.

Abstract
The article reports on the results of a study of the preventive effects of Moringa oleifera (MO) on hyperlipidemia and hepatocyte ultrastructural changes in iron deficient rats. A description of the experimental setup and measurement method is presented. The study showed that MO reduced iron-deficient diet-induced increases in serum and hepatic lipids with dose-dependent increases of serum quercetin and kaempherol. It adds that MO failed to prevent anemia.
