In this study, we investigate the following four-dimensional difference equations system {(un = αun-3 tn-2 + β / γvn-1 tn-2 un-3, vn = αvn-3 un-2 + β / γwn-1 un-2 vn-3, n ∈ N0, wn = αwn-3 vn-2 + β / γtn-1 vn-2 wn-3, tn = αtn-3 wn-2 + β / γun-1 wn-2 tn-3, where the initial values u-d, v-d, w-d, t-d, d ∈ {1,2,3} are non-zero real numbers and the parameters α, β are real numbers, γ is non-zero real number. Then, we obtain the solutions of system of third-order difference equations in explicit form. In addition, the solutions according to some special cases of the parameters are examined. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the theoretical results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
