Abstract
The article explores the process on challenging trademark registration in China, which will be first decided by the China Trademark Office (CTMO) and could be appealed at the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board (TRAB). Topics discussed include the factors considered by CTMO on hearing challenges on trademark registration, suggestions when filing a challenge with CTMO like submitting notarized documents instead of original copies and the New Chinese Trademark Law.
