Abstract
This article discusses the case of a 34-year-old female patient with congenital heart diseases who underwent percutaneous mitral valve repair using the MitraClip device. The patient had previously undergone multiple surgeries and experienced complications, including renal and respiratory failure. The procedure successfully reduced the regurgitation of the left atrioventricular valve, leading to improved cardiac function and quality of life. The article emphasizes the challenges of managing adults with single ventricle physiology and highlights the feasibility of percutaneous valve repair as an alternative to surgery for high-risk patients.
