As they visit HBCU across the country, the team presents to students about optometry as a career, the Black EyeCare Perspective Pre-Optometry Club, and the benefits of Transitions lenses. Following a successful trail in fall 2022, Black EyeCare Perspective and Transitions Optical have partnered to continue a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Light Intelligent Tour to encourage more young Black students to consider optometry as a career.
