Abstract
A middle-aged man in his 50s presented with multiple asymptomatic white- to gray-colored raised lesions on his scrotum. He had been receiving treatment for genitocrural intertrigo for the past 3 years. A punch biopsy revealed epidermolytic acanthoma, a rare condition characterized by skin-colored papules. The cause of the condition is believed to be repeated trauma, such as scratching. Treatment options include retinoids, calcipotriol, imiquimod, and various surgical procedures. It is important to be aware of this condition in order to differentiate it from other similar conditions with different treatment and prognostic implications. [Extracted from the article]
