Abstract
The article focuses on estimating the seroprevalence and incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infections among blood donors in the United States from April 2021 to September 2022. It reports that the findings show an increase in hybrid immunity (immunity from both previous infection and vaccination), with 96.4 percent of persons aged more than or equal to 16 years having SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, and highlight the importance of older adults staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccination.
