Abstract
The article focuses on a study which analyzed data on cancer survival in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Great Britain between 1995 to 2007. Cancers of the breast, colorectal, lung and ovarian were considered in the study. Data from population-based cancer registries in 12 jurisdictions in the six countries were provided. Results indicate that survival improved in all countries but Australia, Canada and Sweden recorded the highest survival. The largest gains were recorded for colorectal cancer while the smallest were for lung and ovarian.
