Abstract
The article profiles the academic program of Columbia Video Network (CVN) under the Columbia University Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Science. One of the innovations of the said network is to make lecture courses and other related learning materials available to students through downloading without the need to have full-time Internet connection. Files are recorded teaching instructions of professors delivered to live students. All teaching assistants and faculties offering courses in CVN are trained and oriented on the requirements and expectations set by CVN. As part of the program, instructors can also be contacted through e-mail, instant messaging, phone and other kinds of communication tools.
