Abstract
A vignette of a paralysed 40-year-old woman who had no quality of life was presented to first-, third- and fifth-year medical students at Glasgow in a cohort study. What the study was based on was to see if there was any change in attitudes as a result of the delivery of the curriculum. There was not. Knowledge and the issues were more developed.
