Abstract
The article presents a case-study of a 41-year-old man, who was diagnosed with common precursor B acute lymphoblastic leukemia (pre-B-ALL). The patient was treated with Peg-asparaginase (PEG-Asp), antibiotics and rivaroxaban, which resolved the clinical signs of superficial thrombophlebitis. It states that this represented the case of successful treatment with rivaroxaban of a thrombosis associated with acquired antithrombin (AT) deficiency due to L-Asparaginase (L-Asp).
