Abstract
Columnar-lined mucosa in the esophagus is classified into two major types: heterotopic gastric mucosa and Barrett's esophagus. In the mid-esophagus, brown mucosa resembling gastric mucosa is seen in the dilated region between the two strictures. Reddish stomach-like mucosa (*) was observed, which transitioned to the white squamous mucosa at the second stricture. [Extracted from the article]
