Abstract
The article features the KWEM-AM radio station in Little Rock, Arkansas, which will be revived online in June 2014 by Mid-South Community College and on 93.3 FM by mid-August. Topics discussed include a brief historical overview of the station and how the voice of blues musician, singer and guitarist Riley B. King, known as B.B. King, sounded like decades ago when it came on for commercial. A photograph of blues singer Howlin' Wolf holding a guitar near a banner for KWEM is also presented.
