Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the weekly hospitalization rates during the COVID-19 Delta and Omicron variants predominant outbreaks in 14 U.S. states from July 2021 to January 2022. The analysis focused on the cases of hospitalization based on factors like race, ethnicity and vaccination status. The study used data from the state immunization information systems.
