Abstract
The article presents the discussion on exploring the futures of gender equality in the Asia-Pacific Region. Topics include gender equality needs to be pursued in its own right and being critical for sustained economic growth, faster poverty reduction, and inclusive development; and creating a new alternative system playing a decisive role in the transformation of the region.
