Abstract
The article discusses the advantageous aspects of the Triple Stage Quadrupole Quantum Discovery Max as a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (LS-MS/MS) tool for detecting mycotoxins in different cattle forages and food matrices. Quantum's highly-selective reaction monitoring (H-SRM) and heated electrospray ionization (H-ESI) indicated mycotoxin levels in various matrices to be within the expected scope. The tool was also capable of evaluating 12 mycotoxins in 12 minutes.
