Abstract
The article focuses on various developments as of December 28, 1992. According to the author, the invasion of Somalia was designed to soften the aversion to war in American public and to prepare them for more military interventions under the new world order. Somalis are in dire need of aid and the U.S. could have provided packages without military intervention. It is offensive and unwise for the U.S. to invade one of the poorest countries in the world to make a point. The U.S. is making war when it should have brought peace.
