Abstract
The article presents case histories of a 49-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man with intraoperative femoral condylar fracture during primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA), which is used to treat end-stage knee diseases. Aseptic loosening, polyethylene wear, periprosthetic fracture, limited range of motion (ROM) and infection are some of the most commonly observed complications in TKA.
