Abstract
The article presents a case study of a middle-aged woman where computed tomography angiogram demonstrated fenestration of the basilar artery with an associated aneurysm. Topics discussed include fenestration of the intracranial vasculature arising due to incomplete fusion of primitive neural arteries, retrospective angiographic showing association between aneurysms and basilar artery fenestration; and other studies suggesting no association between aneurysms and basilar artery fenestration.
