Abstract
The article presents a case series of patients with long QT syndrome (LQTS) associated with hypoparathyroidism, particularly primary hypoparathyroidism (PHPT), detected through school-based electrocardiogram screenings in Japan. It highlights the importance of considering secondary causes, like hypoparathyroidism, in cases of LQTS identified through ECG screenings, suggesting that routine assessments for electrolytes and hormones should be conducted to exclude secondary causes in such patients.
