Abstract
Follow-up ultrasounds were performed in 73 individuals, in 54/73 (73.9%) subsequent scans showed normal AF (AFI > 8 cm), in 12/73 (16.4%) AFI remained as borderline oligohydramnios, and in 3/73 (4.1%) clear oligohydramnios was identified (AFI <= 5 cm) (figure 1). To evaluate longitudinal changes in amniotic fluid index (AFI) among fetuses diagnosed with borderline oligohydramnios in the third trimester of pregnancy. Stable borderline oligohydramnios or progressing to clear oligohydramnios was more frequently observed among women with hypertensive disorders and/or diabetes. [Extracted from the article]
