Abstract
The article presents a list of 10 historic sites in danger of destruction and recommends that they be visited by readers of the magazine. Among the sites described is the complex of 17th and 18th century fortifications in Fenestrelle, Italy, the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem in the Palestinian Territories and the Chan Chan civilization site north of Lima, Peru.
