Abstract
The article discusses the available and emerging therapies for osteoporosis. It reviews the available emerging treatments for osteoporosis which includes the anabolic therapy or augment bone formation. It presents the approved pharmacotherapies for the management and prevention of the disease. It further suggests that all patients should be counseled on the significance of lifestyle changes in the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis.
